In the old days, before 24 hours-a-day television, when the television programmes ended you got these static screens. You never see this these days, of course. That static contains different elements: local electronic signals, radio waves and energy left over from the Big Bang from the start of the universe. Global, local and cosmic noice. And I am looking at noise as well. There is global noise from beyond Svalbard, from the climate, the sea and so on. So there is a parallel between the noise I measure and the noise in her piece.
