I am a polar researcher, or so my wife likes to call me, as she thinks that makes me sound more sexy than a population ecologist – which is OK.
I work for the Polar Research Institute in Tromso Norway. My wife is the artist Siri Hermansen. We met in an elevator a few years ago and were married immediately.
I want to show you some parallels between my research and my wife’s work.
